The JAM Event Featured on Green Wedding Shoes!

When Cameron Ingalls first approached us to design a space at The Jam Event for The Wedding Standard, we were a bit hesitant. The theme was 1980's and we weren't sure where to begin. This is not our favorite decade design-wise! But of course we're willing to do anything for Cameron, so we put our thinking caps on and decided to go for it.

Our idea was to go full Miami Vice and create an over-the-top surf inspired/iridescent/pastel paradise. The Wedding Standard sponsored a space at The Jam Event where we were able to design a tablescape and lounge with our pal and florist Katie Noonan. It was pink, blue, punchy and bright, and everything we like about the 80's.

The entire album of images from The Jam is featured on Green Wedding Shoes today- check it out! After we saw all the other design spaces at the party we decided this decade wasn't so bad. Everyone knocked it out of the park!

The floral + balloon installation above is by Bright Inc and we LOVED it. The colors, textures, asymmetry, everything. Best way to start a party!

On the front page of Snippet & Ink!

Shayla and Michael's gorgeous fall wedding is featured on the front page of Snippet and Ink today!

We absolutely love this blog and are honored to be recognized as the planners and designers of their wedding.

One of the things we love about fall on the central coast is the crisp air and warm golden light. Shayla & Michael's wedding radiated just that, plus lots of LOVE! These two were the sweetest, most relaxed and laid back couple on their wedding day. Michael wanted everything to flow smoothly for his wife-to-be, and you could just tell how much they loved each other.

We can't help looking back on their wedding with huge smiles on our faces. We loved these two! See the full feature, here

Officially members of the Grey Collective!

Today is a big day for us, as we are officially members of one of our favorite wedding blogs, Grey Likes Weddings!  When they approached us about having Lovelyfest be a part of their collective member team, we didn't hesitate at all. We have always loved Grey Likes and everything about it. It is THE cutest wedding blog out there. Everything about the site is adorable and very easy to navigate. They curate only the best weddings, styled shoots and products on their site, which makes it fun to visit daily.

We are so honored to be distinguished on their blog under the section "Event Design & Coordination". Simply search Lovelyfest and you'll see our bio with some of our all-time favorite pictures (and a few videos, too!).

Our 6-page spread in the Knot Magazine!

Walking to Barnes and Noble and finding our own work in print will never get old! We are so excited to debut our feature in the Knot California and the national Knot Magazine for Linsay and Stefan's wedding. Designing this couple's beautiful little wedding in Arroyo Grande was one of the funnest days we've had, and we are so excited they get this magazine to look back on forever. Thanks to Mirelle Carmichael for all the wonderful photos.

Linsay and Stefan hired us on as the designers for their big day, as their wedding venue included day-of coordination. We worked on every aspect of design for their wedding: the linen colors and textures, overall color palette, handmade decorations, the escort display, cake table design, layout of vintage furniture, tablescape design, ceremony backdrop, and more. There were so many little details that made this wedding unique to Linsay and Stefan and it was so much fun to create.

See more of their gorgeous wedding, here, or purchase the Knot magazine to see it all in print!
