Debbie & Frank's Seaside Wedding

On the weekend of Thanksgiving last year, we planned a beautiful seaside wedding for Debbie and Frank.

Part2-197.jpg

Although their marriage took place later in life, it didn’t deter these two from being head over heels for each other. Through every meeting we had with them planning colors, details, food and decor, these two seemed to be just so in love!

When talking with the two of them about their wedding design and feel, they made it clear they wanted a beach style wedding, with seashells and sunset toned florals. They wanted it to be a comfortable, fun space for their friends and family to gather and celebrate. Below is the mood board we created for their reception design, full of beach inspired shells, coral and driftwood, and the sunset toned florals. After looking at all the photos from their day, leave a comment below if you think we hit the mark with the design!

The reception took place at a private home in Shell Beach, right on the cliffs of the ocean. With various soft seating lounges throughout the yard, we brought the indoors out for a fun celebration that went well into the night. The sunset toned florals by Precious and Blooming were just the perfect accent to the ocean front property. Guests were sitting on the lounges, dancing on the dance floor and celebrating all night long!

This was such a lovely wedding to be a part of, and we will never forget the planning that went into it, and enjoying watching all the guests and Debbie and Frank celebrate. Debbie is no longer with us, and it is with heavy hearts that we send her family and friends our deepest condolences. She was the sweetest to us and we will forever cherish our memories of planning her day with her. Thank you Debbie for being so wonderful! <3

Jen + Tim featured on Style Me Pretty!

Jen and Tim's gorgeous fall wedding is featured on Style Me Pretty today!

We planned and designed this wedding and Jen Rodriguez took the most beautiful photos of the day. Noonan's Wine Country Designs designed the gorgeous and lush florals, taking our color palette to the next level! The ceremony was one of our favorite parts. Simple, romantic and timeless.

Jen always seems to capture candid moments in such a stunning way, this photo below is one of our favorites, just before these two tied the knot.

It's no secret that we love designing with color, and the rich fall tones that made up this wedding mimicked the bride and groom's love of wine: pinot red and rosé pink.

We spent months planning this wedding with the lovely couple, and every little detail seemed to fit perfectly in the design. So romantic!

We created each dinner menu, as seen above, with vellum paper, marbled menus, wax seals and gold string. Guests were given wine charms at the escort display, as seen above. And we can't forget about the custom napkins with the wedding monogram!

Such a fun wedding to look back on, and thank you to Style Me Pretty for the feature.

Last but certainly not least, we'd like to share the mood board that we created in the initial stages of planning for this wedding. After talking with the bride and groom to get a sense of their style, colors and overall feel for their wedding day, this is what we came up with! We always reference mood boards throughout planning and our goal is to have it be the overall feel of the day. How do you think we did?

Camille & Jonathan: A Little Mermaid Inspired Wedding!

When we say 'A Little Mermaid Inspired Wedding", you're probably getting the idea that we had mermaid tails and fish scales flowing abundantly throughout this wedding design. But let us tell you, that is NOT the case!

Camille and Jonathan first met while working at Walt Disney Studios (hello, dream job), and bonded over the fact that The Little Mermaid was their favorite movie when they were little! Fast forward a few years and they began to plan their wedding, starting with the venue! They chose to get married at Lago Giuseppe in Paso Robles - the most magical venue set beside a lake and mossy trees in the middle of wine country.

They hired us on for Design only, and it was only fitting to incorporate their love of The Little Mermaid (and all things Disney) into their big day. With a color palette of pale ocean blues, deep reds, greens, and sequined neutrals, we created a romantic setting loosely based on the Disney theme.  We created table numbers out of seashells, Camille wore the most beautiful lace wedding dress, and linens were in various shades of blue. It was like a real life fairy tale!

For the seating chart, we painted our 7' wall pale blue, and hand wrote a romantic quote on it from the Little Mermaid "You're the one, the one that I've been looking for." We wrote guest's names and table numbers in gold calligraphy on real mussel shells, and attached these to the wall for guests to take home. Under these we created a faux seaweed look with dried pampas grass, for a fun underwater feel! This has to be one of our favorites, ever!

We put thought into each and every detail for C&J's wedding. See those fish shaped candleholders below? We sourced those specifically for this wedding! Jordan Voth captured every little detail, and we  were so excited to finally work with him after stalking his amazing Instagram!

Thanks to a fabulous team of vendors on this one. It was so fun to re-live this beautiful day! See the full gallery, here

Ellery & Rarig's Los Olivos Wedding Featured on California Wedding Day!

Ellery and Rarig got married on the perfect summer day last July, at the Crossroads Estate in Los Olivos, and today their wedding is featured on the California Wedding Day blog!

We were so honored to help plan and design their beautiful wedding day. These two were an absolute dream to work with, and were SO in love with each other. They were calm, cool, and collected on the wedding day and seemed to soak in every moment!

The outdoor ceremony was under the most beautiful grand oak tree, and Ellery looked absolutely stunning! Her bridesmaids were all gorgeous as well, making for some beautiful shots! We love how Alexandra Wallace captured their wedding day, the photos have a romantic sense to them, and they are light, airy, and beautiful.

The reception took place at Firestone Vineyards, just down the road from Crossroads. Dinner was held inside the prettiest courtyard with ivy lined walls, and twinkle lights strung overhead. It was such a magical venue! The design of Ellery and Rarig's wedding was classic, simple elegance. White, gold, and green were the colors that made up their palette, and we had fun creating timeless and beautiful decor for their big day.

We chose textured linens in an array of different patterns, but all in the same neutral color scheme. These linens were complimented by white and green florals from Anna Le Pley Taylor, bringing just the right amount of contrast to the dining tables. For the escort display, we hand wrote each guest's name and table number on a six foot tall Embellish Vintage Rentals gold mirror. This was a labor of love and so much fun to complete! We had a fabulous team of vendors with us on this wedding that we cannot thank enough. Thank you California Wedding Day for allowing us to re-live these memories!
