Featured on Carats + Cake!

A fun wedding we designed in Palm Springs is being featured up on Carats + Cake today! This wedding was full of colorful bridesmaid dresses, specialty cocktails, sequin white linens, bright agate slice place cards and gorgeous flowers by Primary Petals.

It was a dream to design and we had so much fun doing so. Although it was a small guest count, our bride and groom had such a fun celebration at this private estate in the beautiful desert evening. We couldn't have asked for a more stylish bride, or for better vendors to help make it come alive!

Today we are so excited to see Euni and Lee's colorful Palm Springs wedding up on the Inspired by This blog! Head on over there to see all the amazing details of the day, a behind the scenes story from our bride + tons of other lovely wedding and lifestyle inspiration!

This wedding was such a fun one to design, and definitely one of our favorites! Our bride, Euni, has great style and a vision for her wedding that completely meshed with ours. After Skyping with her from across the country, Euni hired us as her wedding designers and coordinators, and we worked with her throughout her entire wedding planning process.

We used a crisp white palette for the linens and accented them with colorful napkins, agates, florals, beautiful vintage glassware, and sparkly gold items. This theme continued throughout the wedding, with Euni's gorgeous white lace Galia Lahav gown, and her colorful bridesmaid dresses, to the impeccable cake by Hey There, Cupcake, and the custom Signature Cocktail Bar.

We compiled a fabulous team of vendors for this one, that just made the wedding all the better!

Wedding Welcome Bags for Outta-Towners!

Wedding welcome bags are such a treat for out-of-town guests, and today we're going to show you how we prepared some for our most recent wedding!

Our bride and groom live in Texas, but their family and friends live in every corner of the world, including Korea and Australia. Palm Springs was the perfect destination for everyone; easy to get to and a warm relaxing getaway. So when our bride suggested having a full wedding weekend (including a bridal shower, men's golf, and a post-wedding brunch), we knew welcome bags with weekend itineraries were a necessity!

The itineraries that we made (above) described in detail where and when every activity was taking place, both in English and Korean. That way the guests weren't calling our bride and groom to figure out where they needed to be! Itinerary items included: Golfing, bridal shower, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, the wedding celebration, and the after-party brunch!

We wanted to pack the bags with fun Palm Springs-inspired goodies and also some things that might actually come in handy in the desert! We included waters, sunscreen, a Palm Springs city guide, lemon heads, mini California oranges, and a fun pool float along with the itineraries!

We packed it all in simple brown paper bags (sturdy yet inexpensive), added the prettiest gold-flaked tissue paper and tied it up with a custom little monogram tag of the bride and groom's names.

The bride's brother delivered all the bags to the guests in their hotels and they were a hit! Everyone was on time to their activities and we even saw guests using their sunscreens during the hot ceremony :) It was so fun putting together these bags- they were perfect for all the guests and didn't cost a fortune!

Wedding Weekend: Palm Springs!

This past weekend at Sand Acre Estate in Palm Springs was absolutely magical! We planned and designed a gorgeous affair for our bride and groom, and the bride described it as "better than she imagined." After months and months of vendor coordination, multiple design boards, and endless checklists, those four words were just what we wanted to hear!

The lovely sweetheart table where we re-used the ceremony backdrop!

In case you didn't read our last blog post, the theme of the wedding was based around travel and the vibe was boho Palm Springs. These two are avid travelers, so globes, airplanes, and table names based on their honeymoon destinations were all part of their wedding design.

Here are some photos we took on our iPhones during the setup of the ceremony!

And next came setup of the reception space! Sand Acre Estate is a gorgeous venue and was such a  fun challenge to make this wedding unique to the couple.

It was about 100 degrees during setup, but that didn't stop us! We kept well hydrated and had great vendors to work alongside with, including Classic Party Rentals, Primary Petals, and Borrowed Blu to name a few! That last photo is of the two of us after we were completely done with setup and ready to start coordinating the wedding.

We can't wait to share all the professional photos that Jessica Castro captured on their big day! We're sure they're going to be just beautiful. Congratulations to the happy bride and groom {who are having a fabulous time on their honeymoon right about now!}
