Featured in Ceremony Magazine

Ceremony Magazine is one of the leading wedding magazines in Orange County, so we were honored to hear that they wanted to publish our Estate on Second photo shoot. Our design work is what we love to do, and we are so excited to see it in print! Thanks to another lovely team of vendors, this shoot came out even better than we imagined. Click here to see the entire shoot, or here to see it in the magazine!

Featured on Inspired by This!

Over the weekend, a beautiful shoot we designed was featured on Inspired by This blog! This is one of our favorite wedding blogs out there. They not only feature beautiful events, but they also have sections on their blog for business, style, dwell, grow and DIY. It's definitely a fun read!

One of our bride and groom couples for next year, ellery and rarig, graciously modeled in the shoot for us. We are so lucky to have the sweetest (and best looking) clients! We shared more about this inspiration behind this shoot including our design boards and more, on our blog here.

If you're wondering what this gorgeous venue is, it's a newly renovated wedding and event venue in Orange County called the Estate on Second. And after touring and styling it all, it quickly turned into one of our favorite venues in the area! Check out the Inspired by This feature to see the full description of our shoot and more! The entire album can be found in our Portfolio.

Local Vendors on Carats & Cake!

We can now be found on the Carats & Cake blog under Local Vendors: Wedding Planners!

You can search for us there among other wonderful wedding vendors in all areas of the country. We mainly work throughout Southern California {with our home bases in San Luis Obispo and Orange County} but are open to traveling to new and exciting places for events. We just love this resource because it directs brides to the exact vendors they need in their exact locations!

Check out Carats & Cake for vendors near you including wedding planners, photographers, caterers, rental companies, etc. but remember that we are more than willing and love to travel out-of-state {and out-of-country} for weddings and events!  :)

From Orange County to San Luis Obispo

We wanted to explain things a little bit. {Why it says from Orange County to San Luis Obispo at the bottom of our website, how we can post Instagram photos being in two places at once.. } Well, the two of us live in separate cities in Southern California; San Luis Obispo and Newport Beach. About a three and a half hour car ride away from each other.

On vacation in Kauai last year!

On vacation in Kauai last year!

As sisters, we grew up together in Orange County, and Natalie made the permanent move up North once she was married.

We are constantly driving back and forth, both for business and for fun! Having a tight knit family has made it easy for us to work alongside each other as business partners, and we spend a lot of time together despite the distance.

 Newport Beach & Avila Beach {in SLO}

We love having the ability to collaborate with vendors and clients both in our cities and all the lovely places in between. We don't think of that drive as a burden, it's a fun way to explore those places we otherwise probably wouldn't! And that's not to say we don't travel outside of that stretch of the 405 and 101 Freeways (sounds like that SNL skit), we love destination weddings! :) We're going back to Kauai this October and will be scouting locations over there!
