Back to Back at Greengate Ranch

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of designing and planning two back to back weddings at Greengate Ranch and Vineyard here in San Luis Obispo. Although they were different in style and theme, they were both beautiful in their own ways. We took a few sneak peek snaps on our iPhones (which we'll be sharing later), but first, we wanted to share their epic engagement sessions, each giving a little glimpse into their personalities!

Heather and James are such a colorful and fun couple which really shows in their carefree, beachy engagement session santa cruz! They walked along the boardwalk playing arcade games, frolicked along the beach, and definitely made us wish it was summer all year long. We're in love! Photos by Albert Brocamonte

Jessica and Tyler share a classic and romantic love, and we styled their wedding the same. Our friend and photographer, Cameron Ingalls, shot their beautiful engagement session and their intimate rehearsal dinner before the wedding. He stole the two away during dinner (as seen in the large photo above) and captured the soon to be groom and his stunning bride-to-be in her Plum Pretty Sugar Couture gown! she was even more stunning in person, and on her wedding day (it's possible, we promise).

We'll be sharing some sneak peeks of their wedding design boards and pictures we took during setup and completion in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

Linsay + Stefan are Tying the Knot!

Exactly one month from today our adorable couple, Linsay and Stefan, will become husband and wife!

Their gorgeous engagement photos were taken in Crested Butte, Colorado, by Yellowfeather Photography, and we can't get over how naturally beautiful it is there. We are working closely with these two lovebirds to design their dream wedding at a venue in Arroyo Grande called The Gardens at Peacock Farms. The details we have lined up for their big day are going to be SO good. We cannot wait! And the talented photographer, Mirelle Carmichael will be there to capture it all!

Linsay happens to work for an amazing bridal gown designer, and is getting a custom gown made just for her. We saw photos of it last week and were blown away. It is beyond gorgeous on her! Wish we could share a sneak peek ;)

The photos above are from our first visit to Peacock Farms with Linsay and Stefan a few months ago. The grounds provide a perfect blank canvas for custom wedding designs and we can't wait to get in there and get to work. Will post more on our Instagram throughout this month of all our projects, so stay tuned!

Featured On... The Perfect Palette!

Today we are thrilled to have our styled Engagement Party shoot featured on The Perfect Palette! This wedding blog is different because it's focused on color and how it can be used in parties or your wedding.

If you're overwhelmed on Pinterest you can use their Color Finder tool to search all inspiration by color! It is such a fun tool to use and a great way to see how your favorite colors are used by designers in real life events. Click on over to their blog to see more :) Photos by Cameron Ingalls.

Featured On... Hostess with the Mostess!

We are so excited to see our styled Engagement Party shoot up on Hostess with the Mostess today! They are actually announcing a revamp of their blog today- starting with our shoot! The blog is now focusing directly on it's readers and making the wonderful world of parties more accessible! HWTM will not only give you tons of fun ideas for your next event, but they'll be posting more and more DIY's so you can actually recreate all the lovely things you see!

So when they asked us to make a DIY for our plexiglass signs, we were all for it! These signs are seriously so easy to make, and really make an impact. They photograph great and really give a unique look to your party! Plus, it's super easy to erase what you've written (just a little Windex & paper towels do the trick) just incase you make a mistake.

Pop on over to the Hostess with the Mostess blog to see our full DIY and more { beautiful photos taken by our friend and photographer Cameron Ingalls }
