Gemstone Place Cards

A few weeks ago, photographer Alexandra Wallace approached us to see if we could make some place cards for a shoot she was working on. We absolutely love making place cards, and any type of event signage, so we jumped at the chance!

Alexandra was working with some amazing fellow central coast vendors and we couldn't wait to see what they were dreaming up. The team consisted of Alexandra, Gusto on the Go, Copper and Crystal, and Eden Floral Designs.

Above is the Pinterest board that the team had put together, which we fell in love with! All the color, flowers, fruit and texture give us heart eyes all the way. We decided a natural texture would go with this shoot, as opposed to a paper or acrylic option, so we picked out the prettiest colored gemstones we could find, complete with gilded edges, and got to work!

We chose gemstones in a blue and pink palette, cut out names in gold foil in a fresh, modern font, and they were off to the shoot! We are so happy with how they came out, and they looked right at home with the other details in this Floral Bridesmaid Brunch shoot.

Even though we just contributed a tiny detail in this shoot, we love it all the same - these vendors did an amazing job. See more on Green Wedding Shoes!

Today our Gal Pal Campfest at the Tinkertin Trailer Co. Trailer Pond is featured up on Green Wedding Shoes! We put so much love behind this shoot and are so excited to finally share it!

Of all the details we made for this shoot, this balloon installation was definitely a highlight. Balloons aren't the easiest to work with, and that proved to be especially true over water, but we did not give up and are so pleased with how it came out! It added such a fun touch to the pond that really gave that 'bachelorette party' vibe!

This campsite full of restored vintage trailers from Tinkertin Trailer Co. is the most perfect venue for a bachelorette. You can make it as camp-like as you want, but for us, we made it girly, fun, and comfortable! With acrylic invitations, abundant florals, a mandala selfie wall, the most plush and stylish lounge, acrylic mandala place cards, and of course gorgeous bridesmaids, it all came together so wonderfully. We are so thankful to all our vendor friends who helped us put this shoot together. Our designs would be nothing without you all!

Popping the Question to my Bridesmaids!

A few weeks ago, I decided it was time to ask my sisters to be my bridesmaids. I am so excited for them to stand by my side when I tie the knot later this year! It was a little tricky to figure out when to ask them, as it has never been a question that they would be my bridesmaids!

Since I'm the youngest of the three, and have been a bridesmaid in both of their weddings, I was so excited to be able to ask them to be in my wedding in a cute way. I wanted to get them something special, but after I couldn't find that one thing I wanted, I decided to put together these boxes full of little gifts that go with our wedding design.

Each box went with their personal style: Natalie's was a black and white striped box lined in pink, and Michelle's was a mint green box with gold accents. Inside I included a gold pineapple, pink/coral bar soaps, Susie Cakes sugar cookies, and a modern brass frame fit with a baby photo of us together. To top it off, Sugar Paper has THE cutest "Will you be my Bridesmaid" cards in the prettiest blush pink and gold foil that I just had to get for them.

The night after I put together the boxes, I went on Pinterest and began to feel like the boxes weren't enough. Seems to me that people are going through as much to ask their bridesmaids to be in their wedding as their fiancé did! Since this wasn't a proposal, I was glad I kept it simple and sweet. Oh the things Pinterest can do to you!

And little do they know they will be getting some more fun surprises up until the day of our wedding! <3

Featured In.. Ireland's Wedding Journal Magazine!

The Autumn issue of Ireland's Wedding Journal Magazine is on stands now, and we're in it!

We are so thrilled to share that our Bridesmaid Dinner Party shoot is in yet another international magazine! We hope this shoot brings inspiration to Irish brides and future brides throughout the globe.

We absolutely loved styling this shoot (some of our girlfriends actually modeled in it with us!) but to be honest we never thought it'd get this far. Except for the fact that Cameron Ingalls shot this for us, and everything he does is gold!

From features in The Wedding Standard Ezine, to Style Me Pretty, to the British magazine Mollie Makes, and now in an Irish magazine? We are so excited that it has taken off and that all kinds of people can appreciate it around the world!

If you happen to be in Ireland, or any other European country, pick one up for us!
