Featured on Kara's Party Ideas!

We are so, so excited that our oldest sister, Michelle is pregnant with her first baby! She is due in July, so we threw her a fun mid-century modern baby shower filled with all of her favorite things.

The shower was featured this week over on Kara's Party Ideas, so head over there to see all of our inspiration and all the photos from the day!

Above is our design board that we created for the shower, full of modern, fresh, colorful and fun elements. We worked together with our mom to come up with the perfect baby shower theme that reflected both our sister's style and that would suit a baby boy on the way!

Our sister's house is full of clean, modern decor, and she has always been inspired by mid-century modern style, so naturally we wanted to mimic this in her shower design. Luckily our mom is very creative and crafty, and she really was the driving force behind all this cuteness. check out the terra cotta cactus planters she painted and planted for each centerpiece!

Every table had a different napkin color, either in turquoise, orange or green that coordinated with the same color terra cotta pots and taper candles. This color blocking gave a nice monochromatic and modern feel to the whole shower. And our modern gold flatware and vintage glassware really added a fun element to the overall decor.

Royal Baby Shower Sneak Peek

For the last five months, we have been knee-deep in everything royal blue and gold in preparation for one special baby shower! Our mommy-to-be client knew from the start that she wanted an over-the-top celebration for her growing baby boy in all her favorite colors. We put together some design boards for her (below) which she loved, and got to work!

Our palette consisted of gold, white and blue ombre, ranging from royal to light powder blue.

The day of the shower finally came a few weekends ago, and it came out exactly how we imagined! We put so much heart into this event and truly think it showed. Our mommy and daddy-to-be were overjoyed with how it came out, and had a fantastic time with friends and family celebrating their bun in the oven!

This iPhone snap is of the extravagant desserts table we designed and decorated with gorgeous Roni Sugar Creations desserts and Sweet and Saucy Shop treats! We can't wait to show all the professional photos in the next few weeks!

Natalie's Woodsy Glam Baby Shower

This past weekend was a very exciting one here at Lovelyfest! Natalie is pregnant with her first baby and I had the privilege of throwing her a baby shower! The venue was absolutely stunning, at a private residence in San Luis Obispo, last seen here and here

I got my mom on board and for the theme of the shower we blended both Natalie's glam, girly style with her hubby's manly hunter traits and came up with a Woodsy Glam theme. We wanted the shower to mirror their fun personalities because we are all so excited for the boy on the way! The look on Natalie's face when she saw the finished party was so worth it!

Here's a sneak peak of some photos I snapped, but the entire shower will be released soon in a large online blog. The lovely Alexandra Wallace shot the entire shower, and she captured it beautifully- can't wait to share the rest!
