Sam + Kam Got Hitched!

It's almost been a month since our bride and groom, Sam & Kam tied the knot. The two have already gone on an amazing honeymoon to Paris (SO jealous) and are settling into married life together. It's always a wonderful reminder of why we do the jobs we do when we have couples like S+K. You can just tell they are head over heels in love with each other and we love that about them!

Cameron Ingalls was there the entire time, capturing all the intimate and grand moments of their big day. We had the entire day planned to perfection, when in the forecast a torrential downpour appeared! Luckily we were prepared with a rain plan (a must for any time of the year). Instead of having their ceremony outside by the barn at Greengate Ranch, we all decided that inside the horse barn would be just as beautiful- if not more so- and definitely more comfortable for the guests.

We couldn't have wished for a more ethereal and gorgeous indoor ceremony site, or entire wedding as a whole! The photos are absolutely magical, and we cannot wait to share more once they are published. Stay tuned!

Palm Springs Visit

Oh how we love Palm Springs! We got to take a mini road trip out here {a 2 hour car ride from Newport Beach} to visit a venue where we'll be designing and coordinating a wedding at in October.

The venue is nothing short of amazing. It's where Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio would spend their vacations- a beautiful home and acre lot called Sand Acre estate.

It's located right in the heart of Palm Springs, around the corner from a delicious breakfast spot called Cheeky's {see below}.

We got a tour of the place and figured out exactly where each of our design items would go and how the wedding will flow best. We picked the perfect spot for the Flipbooth photobooth, the sweetheart table, ceremony, Hey There Cupcake cake table, etc. It took us a while to nail down everything, but will make all the difference on the day of!

We made a little vacion out of it, and after the site visit headed to the adorable Viceroy Palm Springs.

This boutique hotel also serves as an incredible wedding venue, with views of the mountains, palms, and cute tile roofed bungalows.

We really enjoyed our stay in this quiet little hotel, and even got the little one in the water {shaded of course}.

Much love Palm Springs, can't wait to come back!
